1/2 cup unsalted butter

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 cup sugar

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1 cup milk

2 large cans sliced peaches in juice, drained

If packing ahead of time for trail or camp, mix all of the dry ingredients and put into a food storage bag. Otherwise mix all dry ingredients together in a bowl. Melt butter in small dutch oven, 10 inches, give or take a little. Add mild to dry ingredients either in the bowl or food storage bag and mix. Pour into oven and then layer peaches on top. Cover and place on single ring of nice hot coals. Also placing evenly scattered coals around the lid, about 10. Leave to cook for 40 minutes, checking after 25 every 5 minutes. Replace coals as needed. Yummy to put on after dinner is served.
